Karen's reformer classes are always delivered very professionally, with very clear explanations of how to safely and effectively do each move. Each class is different and has a particular focus, which makes them very enjoyable. There are always different options to suit everyone. Would definitely recommend anyone to give it a try.

The benefits of Reformer Pilates for me far outweigh any other form of exercise. I feel stronger, leaner & firmer than ever before. I’m a 67-year-old female who just needed that extra motivation to get going - Reformer Pilates has done that for me! I highly recommend it.

I have seen my enthusiasm for exercise & fitness reach another level since doing reformer Pilates. Having struggled with finding ‘enjoyment’ in various methods of fitness regimes - this one I truly look forward to. In particular, Karen the instructor makes the whole experience such a delight! She educates us and exudes a passion for each & every session.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Pilates and Reformer Pilates?

The main difference between traditional Pilates and reformer Pilates is the equipment, intensity level and specific exercises performed. While mat Pilates is typically done on a mat or padded surface, reformer Pilates uses a specialised machine called The Reformer. This is a spring-loaded machine that allows for a wide range of exercises to be performed. It provides a more intense workout due to the different levels of resistance used to build strength and tone muscles.

Is Reformer Pilates good for weight loss?

Reformer Pilates can be a great addition to a weight loss programme, as it can help to build muscle and increase your metabolism. We recommend combining reformer Pilates sessions with a healthy diet and other forms of exercise for best results.

How often should you do Reformer Pilates to see results?

We recommend doing a reformer Pilates session three times a week to see progress and results quickly – consistency is key.

Is Reformer Pilates hard?

Sessions can be intense and challenging, but the beauty of the versatile equipment means that no matter your experience level, you can find the perfect challenge with just a few simple adjustments. Our Intro Reformer classes are perfect for those to find out more about the class, while Club Reformer classes cater to those all levels of fitness & experience.

Is Reformer Pilates included in my membership?

Reformer Pilates sessions are not included in your membership and must be purchased separately, however if you are a member with us you’ll benefit from a significant discount.

Do I need to be a member to attend Reformer Pilates classes?

No, we welcome both members and guests to Reformer Pilates classes. Explore session prices and find out how to book.
